Air Jordan III “Dave White” Customs by DeJesus
The whole phenomena of taking a Dave White design for a custom creation is sort of a meta-moment, White’s original Air Jordan 1 designs in this case being far off enough from the standard look to be considered an officially sanctioned custom of sorts. The latest is this Air Jordan III by DeJesus, taking the same road as this recent Mache creation and opting for the earlier iteration of the Dave White x Air Jordan 1 project, gold accenting and all. Now that we’ve got a good number of pairs melding the Dave White influence onto some different models which one is your favorite? Considering white cements are my favorite sneaker ( not just Jordan ) of all time im not feeling these at all but hey hope he enjoys em and finally un ds's them ( my pair have been heavily rotated since the jan release). Anyone looking to sell a pair size 10-10.5 with a decent prize tag hit me up. eBay name is micleonietus and email is firstname.lastname@example.org ( Ive had it for bout 10 years so don't judge me lol)
Ok I feel like the front toe part of the shoe, that elephant print section should have been completely gold instead of left out in white with gold cracks in between. The real Dave whites have a solid colored front end of the shoe, as it were dipped in paint.
I love how everyone is dogging on these but they like the ones mache made, and they are the EXACT same thing, only a different shoe!
I know right? Basically just promoting. I think custom designs should be something we haven't seen before; like an interesting colorway for a pair of J's, but then people will say, "They look like fakes." Personally for me, Uptowns are a great template, because there's no end in sight as to how many color possibilities can be done.
