Nike Air Foamposite One “Fighter Jet” – Dissected
It takes quite a bit of curiosity to tear open a pair of sneakers just for the sake of seeing what’s inside. With that being said we’re glad someone’s doing it, as it’s always cool to see the little bits that are hidden underneath the surface of these trainers we spend so much on. This time the Nike Air Foamposite One “Fighter Jet” is put under the knife, although this pair is noted to not be an authentic Nike product (so it’s still interesting to see what’s behind some of these well-done fakes). Of course they’re not going to look any different than any other Nike Air Foamposite One underneath the skin but this is still a must-see if you’re a Foamposite fan. Full photos after the jump so take a look and let us know if anything of note surprises you.
I find it hard to believe these are fake. If they are then they are the best foamposite fakes ive ever seen. Maybe they are B grades/ blems but as far as astetics and construction these are above average for fakes.
it was interesting to see how far fake companies go into replicating a shoe, now they need to do a real pair of foams for comparison...
According to KicksOnCourt.com, this is really a replica being destroyed, showing how similar they are to the real thing. http://kicksoncourt.com/nike-air-foamposite-one-deconstructed/
some of yall need to kick back and think about where you are in life.
A LOT of people here are crying, hurting, emotionally effected by seeing shoes get dissected. It shows how much Nike got you in the palm of their hands.
Someone mentioned the economy to defend messing up these shoe. BROHAM, if economy was so important you should tell that to many of these "shoeheads" living paycheck to paycheck in a rundown apartment or in their mama's basement, or not buy food because they rather get the latest kicks.
Yall are the reason Nike continues to raise prices. that shoe we just saw can be sold at $100 and still pay for the workers, materials, all business aspect ends and nike woudl still net a profit. But why stop there if they got yall willing to pay $200+
Nike made their shoes like drugs, and its a shame at the demographics who got addicted to it. its the TRUTH look into it.
"...although this pair is noted to NOT be an authentic Nike product (so it’s still interesting to see what’s behind some of these well-done fakes)..."
Who's to say they even payed for this pair though? or if it even was a pair for that matter. They did something they thought people would find interesting, and probably only used a new shoe for the "cool" factor.
I cannot believe that people are catching feelings over what someone does to a pair of sneakers.
Some of you really do need girlfriends.....badly.
What does a d1ck has to do with a shoe? Some people are just ignorant and rude.

I thought it was interesting as foamposites are never taken apart. What I am more interested in is if the yellowing occurs from the inside or outside, and if the PU foam is as strong as to be said.
if you dont know what sneakers are made of, how they are constructed and you find this interesting you need to evaluate your life. this is so pointless and stupid, i dont see why they need to deconstruct a good pair of foams. if you wanted to waste money, should have spent that 200+ on some payless kicks and give them out to the homeless. this is sooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid
@moises alderson #facts the Consumer would have to totally change their mentally towards sneakers....Nike's Marketing is super advanced, yeah they know they got us hooked, and yes they know its an addiction that they Feed to the Masses.
@_________L You sir are a retard as it says "these shoes are stated to be authentic (so it's still fun to open up some of these well done fakes" they are real
@_________L These fools can't read
@Longstroke its not what they do with it, but to spend 200+, with the economy the way it is, people struggling for food, couldve spent that money on something better than buying some just released 2013 jet fighter foams, couldve done it with beaters. why spend 200+ on new shoes just to decontruct them. like i said, couldve spent that money on payless kicks and gave them away for free. basically all they did was just insult all the die hard sneaker heads, who sweat and work to get theirs to wear, and kats like this just do it for what? seriously whats the PURPOSE of showing us this!
@dopeman978 How did this get 5 likes they didn't use real Foams, deconstructing shoes lets you see what's inside, and if you care you care if you don't, don't click on the article and sound stupid.
@dopeman978 It clearly says "although this pair is noted to not be an authentic Nike product (so it’s still interesting to see what’s behind some of these well-done fakes)"
Read before you post ur rant
@dopeman978 Agreed! If they really wanted to dissect foams, how about some used joints that are on their last legs...
What a waste...
@filthymouth116 your so right. There was no point of them doing this. Its just damn sad of a waste.
@dellitalianYOU ARE THE RETARD.
"although this pair is noted to not be an authentic Nike product (so it’s
still interesting to see what’s behind some of these well-done fakes)."
@dopeman978 @Longstroke maybe these guys got money to waste. unlike 90% of shoe heads living paycheck to paycheck. living with their mamas. not paying rent. not eating just to get the latest kicks. maybe they want to expose nike and how for X amount you pay does not justify.
if you bring up the economy, you should tell most of the demographics who spend their money on kicks to spend their money more wisely instead of kicks, maybe pay rent, purchase food on the the table, help out mom's morgage or rent, pay that child support, etc
@dopeman978 someone needs glasses
I've got an even better question! Considering the economy and what people are doing for food, why spend two hundred dollars on plastic nike sneakers at all?
How many pairs of shoes do you actually need?
To cut these in half, really shows what fools are actually paying out of their asses for.
Oh my argument is incredibly sound, especially while going up against someone who supports such a nonsensical moniker as "sneakerhead". What a pretentious and presumptuous position to hold! Like tearing up a sneaker to see what's inside, is really going to cause the crash of all humanity.
You guys really need to get a grip.
@dopeman978 @Longstroke actually by purchasing the sneakers, they are helping the economy...Also by deconstructing the shoe, they are showing the quality that is put into making a 200+ shoe. Everyone should be happy they are doing this, so you actually know what you are spending 200+ hard earned dollars on!
@Longstroke but your argument isnt sound! you can say that about anything that is man made, and is mass produced in a factory setting. foams since they came out has NEVER been cheap, but my point is this! they couldve saved a lot of money and got some beaters. deconstruct those, why do it to a brand new pair of foams, would you go out and buy a s class benz amg 55 series and disassemble it just to show people what its made of? and thats my point, they did this to me to make fun of people, to be cynical
